Eastern Mountain Region Boating Access Areas

Below you will find a table that contains directions to Eastern Mountain Region boating access areas maintained by the NCWRC. This table lists the boating access area name, county, detailed directions, and any important user notes about the launch ramp or access channel. In addition, there is a column that notes the accessibility of the access area. If there is a wheelchair symbol in the access column, this means that the boating access area is considered fully accessible due to the designated disabled user parking, paved walkways leading to the launch ramps, and barrier free docks.

Belews Lake

X	Iredell	Hager Creek	From I-77 take Exit 36 onto NC 150 West. After 0.4 mile, turn left on Williamson Rd./SR 1109. After 0.9 mile, turn right on Brawley School Rd./SR 1100. X	Lincoln	Beatties Ford	On I-77 take Exit 28 onto NC 73 West, follow to NC 16. Turn right onto NC 16 North, continue for 2.3 miles to Old NC 73 (Unity Church Road), turn right. X	Lincoln	Little Creek	On I-77 take exit 36 onto NC 150 west and cross Lake Norman twice before turning left onto NC 16 south. Follow NC 16 south for 4.5 miles to Webb Road. 	Catawba	Oxford	From I-40 take exit 131. Travel on NC16N for 7.6 miles. Turn left on St. Peters Church Road and travel 0.1 mile, then turn right on Claude Road (gravel). Continue 0.4 miles and turn right onto access area road which is 0.4 miles to ramp. [N 35^o 49' 9.8'' W 81^o 11' 45.6'']
