Western Piedmont Region Boating Access Areas

Below you will find a table that contains directions to Western Piedmont Region boating access areas maintained by the NCWRC. This table lists the boating access area name, county, detailed directions, and any important user notes about the launch ramp or access channel. In addition, there is a column that notes the accessibility of the access area. If there is a wheelchair symbol in the access column, this means that the boating access area is considered fully accessible due to the designated disabled user parking, paved walkways leading to the launch ramps, and barrier free docks.

Badin Lake

At intersection where NC 49 North and NC 8 North split, turn right onto Badin Lake Rd./SR 554. Follow Badin Lake Rd. 3.1 miles. It becomes Blaine Rd./SR1161 [N 35^o 30' 13'' W 80^o 6' 12.6'']
x	Montgomery	Lakemont	From junction of NC 49 and NC 109 in Davidson County, travel NC 109 South 4.5 miles to Blaine in Montgomery County. Turn right onto Blaine Road/SR 1156, travel 1.7 miles to Lakemont Rd/SR 1158, turn left onto Lakemont Rd and follow to access road on left after boat storage facility.
